Priya and Prateek are both doctors, but their wedding celebration was anything but formal. It was relaxed, full of laughter, warmth and the kind of effortless moments that make a wedding truly memorable.
We were there across their engagement, Sangeet night, Haldi Carnival and wedding celebrations in Varanasi, documenting their journey through photographs and films.
Prateek is the simple, composed kind of person, while Priya is nothing short of a complete package. Together, they brought a beautiful balance to the celebration. Priya's friends were the life of the party throughout the functions and were incredibly supportive, making every celebration even more fun.
The wedding day carried a slightly different emotion. Amid all the celebrations, there were quiet moments when Priya's father and brother became emotional — moments that did not need direction or posing, and perhaps did not even need words.
That is exactly what we wanted to preserve.
Rather than creating photographs around posed moments, we focused on everything that happened naturally — the laughter, the emotions, the people, the little interactions and the atmosphere that surrounded Priya and Prateek throughout their wedding.
